Glebe, Sydney NSW 2037
Our street. Our community. Our future.
About this portal
Rosebank Street is the quiet heart of a changing Glebe โ home to young families, elderly residents, long-time locals and new arrivals. Our footpaths are cracked. Our road is worn. Our canopy is sparse.
This portal exists to show the City of Sydney Council how deeply we care about our street โ and what it could become. Share your photos, ideas, and voice. Every submission strengthens our case.
Broken, narrow paths forcing elderly residents and wheelchair users onto the road. We want safe, accessible footpaths for everyone.
More canopy means less heat island effect and a more liveable street โ in line with Council's own urban greening strategies.
Cobblestone-effect paving, as seen in nearby John Street, would suit Glebe's heritage character beautifully.

We've prepared a formal summary of our concerns, our community's vision, and our petition โ specifically for Council review. We'd welcome a walk of the street.
